The Citations project is a simple extension that allows the user to select a text in a Web page and put it in a special bookmark file. Citations are stored in a RDF file and can be browsed in a HTML view
Features of Citations
- Save the selected text as a quoting in an internal database together with author and URL
- Previously saved citations are presented in a table
- Menuitems are added to the popup menu in Mozilla
- Clicking a citation in the db opens the URL and highlights the text quoted
Wish list
- A config tool for colors and other (nice to have)
- Saved citations should be presented sorted by name, by date and so forth (nice to have)
- Date, description and title should be added as optional citation metadata. (should have)
- Export a citation in different formats: bibtex, plain/text, html, others to define. (should have)
